As part of the European project KA122-ADU-9BF4DF3A – “New Horizons for the Continuing Training of Teachers: Developing Professional Networks and Promoting Sustainable Development”, our team has initiated an educational exchange with our partners in Spain. This Erasmus+ co-funded programme aims to strengthen the quality of teacher training through international collaboration, the sharing of innovative practices, and a broader European perspective.

A strategic partnership between two educational programmes :
This exchange provided an opportunity to present our project, identify synergies with the work carried out in Spain, and build common perspectives. Thanks to this collaboration, we can now deepen our training modules, enrich our educational content, and foster a genuine learning network between professionals in both countries.
For several days, the Centro del Profesorado de Castilleja de la Cuesta (Seville) hosted an invited expert, Antonino Maggiore, a specialist in Erasmus+ projects and teacher training. His intervention took place from 26 to 29 November 2025, through multiple dissemination sessions, meetings with educational institutions, and a dedicated training session for the CEP teams.
Programme objectives :
The exchange is built around three central objectives:
1. Strengthening teachers’ skills
The main ambition is to provide teachers with new pedagogical, linguistic, and methodological skills to enable them to:
participate more actively in international projects,
integrate a European dimension into their teaching practices,
improve the quality of education in their institutions.
2. Inspiring a culture of innovation among trainers
Through exchanges with the Spanish teams, local trainers can:
draw inspiration from innovative European practices,
modernise their own training programmes,
encourage teachers to adopt a continuous learning approach.
The expertise provided by international contributors helps to foster a genuine “European culture” within teacher training.
3. Developing research and Erasmus+ projects
Another key aim is to support educational teams in understanding the opportunities offered by Erasmus+.Teachers benefit from:
concrete examples,
practical guidance,
support to identify projects that best match their institution’s needs.
This approach facilitates the future development of well-structured projects that meet the needs of the field.
An approach focused on openness and practice
This international exchange plays a crucial role in the dynamics of continuous training. It combines:
theoretical input,
practical sessions,
immersion in Spanish educational practices,
skills development in building international projects.
This programme is fully aligned with our commitment to providing teachers with practical tools, cultural openness, and new perspectives to enrich their professional practices.
Thanks to this European partnership, we strengthen the quality of our training, encourage pedagogical innovation, and support the creation of ambitious Erasmus+ projects.
This collaboration with Spain opens the door to new opportunities for the entire educational community and helps build strong professional networks rooted in a shared European vision of teacher development.
