On Tuesday, January 20, the partners of the Active Seniors project met online for a follow-up meeting. This meeting provided an opportunity to review ongoing activities, assess progress to date, and clarify the project’s next key steps.

This monthly meeting brought together all partners to discuss several key points: monitoring previously launched tasks, progress on Activity 2 dedicated to the development of training modules, the participant recruitment strategy, and communication actions.

Several important advances were confirmed:

  • The translations of the website and the first educational materials (English, French, and Italian) have now been completed.

  • Work on the design of the training modules is progressing actively:

    • Modules 1 and 2 are currently being prepared and reviewed;

    • Modules 3 and 4 are in the finalization phase prior to translation.

The partners, in particular LLL4EU and Alpes Secrétariat, are continuing to structure the educational content around training methodologies, digital skills, personal development, and entrepreneurship for seniors.

At the same time, the beneficiary recruitment strategy has been launched. An initial meeting with France Travail was held on January 20 to begin the selection of 50 seniors, with particular attention given to individuals who are distant from the labor market.

The coming weeks will be devoted to:

  • Finalizing and translating the course outlines for the training modules;

  • Advancing the methodological guide;

  • Continuing participant recruitment through local and institutional networks;

  • Strengthening communication actions, particularly via the website and social media.

The Active Seniors project continues to move forward with tangible progress, aiming to provide seniors with tailored tools to strengthen their skills, confidence, and professional engagement. The next steps will turn this work into on-the-ground actions, directly benefiting future participants.
