On 21 November 2025, the partners of the Erasmus+ project Active Seniors – Training and Support for an Adapted and Fulfilling Professional Life met again online for their second monthly coordination meeting. Following the kick-off session in October, this meeting aimed to review the progress made so far, formalise the division of tasks, and prepare for the transition into the active development phase of the project.

Several key milestones have already been achieved since the initial meeting: the project logo has been completed, the social media pages are active, the partnership agreement is signed, and communication efforts have begun locally. Meanwhile, the official website is under development and will continue to be enriched over the coming weeks, particularly through the integration of Italian and English translations.

This meeting marks the start of a crucial stage: the creation of the training modules for seniors. The partners confirmed the educational framework and distributed the responsibilities for content development. The first two modules—focused on learning methodologies and digital tools—will be produced by LL4EU and delivered in January and February. The following two modules, centred on personal development and entrepreneurship, will be created by Alpes Secrétariat and scheduled for March and April. Each session will last two hours, allowing a gradual and accessible learning process for participants.

Another key topic discussed was participant recruitment. The project aims to involve 20 to 25 seniors per country, with an initial pilot group of ten participants who will take part in the four modules. Recruitment strategies will involve collaboration with organisations such as France Travail, CCAS, popular education centres, associations, coworking structures, and the Municipality of Bagheria. Priority will be given to seniors who are currently distant from the labour market, ensuring the project remains inclusive and socially impactful.

The partners also reviewed the upcoming European mobility periods. A first mobility in Sicily is planned for May 2026, followed by a second session in France at the end of June. These exchanges will allow teams to assess early results, gather feedback, refine content, and strengthen cross-country collaboration. Final dates will be confirmed during the next meeting scheduled for 18 December.
